I hope you will join me for a #KnitAndBeKindKAL. Let’s be kind in our knitting, whether it is by knitting an unexpected gift for someone, by treating yourself to a new cast-on, or perhaps even investing in some wooly goodness. And let’s share photos of all this kindness on Instagram, with the hashtag #KnitAndBeKindKAL. On April 21st I will draw a winner, and send out one of the prices for them!
The Lux Crafter on Etsy has generously donated some of her handmade jewellery, and a Danish viewer has donated a skein of my hand dyed yarn on the sock base, Storm, in the colorway Tivoli. Thank you so much!
Also a big thanks to The Kitchen Knitter! If you don’t know her podcast, go check it out.
The book I mention: City of girls by Elizabeth Gilbert. – and the Danish book I have so mixed feelings about: Løbeklubben i Saudi af Lotte Garbers. It has not been translated, but I thought I’d include it for the Danish viewers 🙂
Hi PIa:
I found your podcast and I love it. I am envious of your being able to wear those lovely warm sweaters. I love in San Francisco Bay area so we don’t get much really cold weather. This was one reason I bought the Brise pattern. I can make it in a fingering yarn and will be able to wear it for a good portion of the year. Though I expect when we get the 103 degree weather weather I won’t.
This is the first time I will be trying lace on a sweeter even though I have been knitting for over 10 years.
I hope your family in Texas are all safe and well given the horrible weather they have had.
Please beep on producing the English podcasts. They are wonderful. No matter what anyone else says!!!
Thanks you for your kind words! It means a lot to know you’re enjoying the podcast. And yes, we do have a lot of “sweater weather”, but I’d change that for more sun (or even just daylight!!) anytime. I guess we’re always longing for what we don’t have 😉
I hope you’ll have fun with the Brise – it’s quite simple lace, and I’m sure you’ll fly right through it.
Thanks also for asking about my family in Texas. Luckily they only suffered material damage, and only in their business, not at home!
