Snowflower Cowl, English
It’s time to cozy up! Let’s keep warm and snuggly – let’s wrap some yak around ourselves.
This is such an easy knit! If you can cast on, work a knit stitch, pick up stitches and bind off, you can make this cowl. It is perfect for that very first project, especially if there’s someone around to lend a helping hand.
It is worked as one long piece, which is then sewn together to form a cowl with a V-neck. Stitches are picked up to knit a little triangle to fill out the V and finish the cowl.
There is an option to embroider flowers in the triangle, but you easily omit those.
Height front/back: approximately 53/33 cm
330 meters sport weight or DK. You may want to add a couple of meters contrast color in a similar weight.
The original yarn for this cowl will grow significantly during blocking. If you’re using another yarn, you need to swatch and see how your yarn behaves when blocked!
The sample is knit in 100 gr. undyed Mørk Yak Sport from A Knitters World: https://www.aknittersworld.dk/collections/sport-ca-300m-100g/products/mork-yak-sport-ufarvet
