Snowflower Vest, English
43,00 DKK
When it’s cold outside, there is nothing better than curling up in a warm sweater – unless of course it’s not quite as cold inside! With a vest you get all the coziness and warmth, without over-heating!
The Snowflower Vest is inspired by my Japanese robes; roomy, comfy, easy to wear, and totally two-dimensional. It has a tiny pattern along the “button bands”, and the rest of the vest is worked in a very easy slip-stitch pattern. It is knit in soft merino tweed, giving interest and texture to the finished work.
You work the vest top-down. After knitting the body, you pick up for the neckline ribbing to add structure and stability to the finished vest. It is designed to be worn with quite a lot of positive ease, but that is of course up to you – all measurements are given for the finished garment, so you can choose the size that will give you the amount of ease you prefer.
