What I’m wearing
The Everyday vest – my own design, available on Ravelry, and in my webshop. Mine is knit in Dropa Puna, color 8.
FO’s
Carlazzo socks – I’m knitting them in my hand dyed yarn, on my sockbase Storm, in the colorway Klods Hans.
I cast on 60 stitches, did a 2×2 rib, 2 rounds stockinette in the main color, and 12 rounds of the Carlazzo pattern in the contrasting color (undyed Storm). I did the Magic Heel by Judy of the Autumn Acorn on Ravelry, and a wedge toe.
My summer top; Crossover Top. The pattern will be released in May, if all goes according to plan.
WIPS
Sweater for Peter with Estonian Braids on the yoke. I will write up a pattern, but it will take some time.
Feel the Bern by Caitlin Hunter – a free pattern on Ravelry.
Knitalong and more
I hope you will join me for a #KnitAndBeKindKAL. Let’s focus on kindness in our knitting, whether it is by knitting an unexpected gift for someone, by treating yourself to a new cast-on, or by using your knitting-practice to cultivate kindness.
If you share photos of your knitting kindness on Instagram with the hashtag #KnitAndBeKindKAL, or post in the Ravelry group for this knitalong you automatically enter to win the amazing prices below!
On April 21st I will draw the first winner and send out one of the prices for them – and we will continue the KAL for one more month!
There are some very generous donations for the prizes; please check out these talented makers:
The Urban Stitcher has donated a beautiful project bag.
The Lux Crafter on Etsy has generously donated some of her handmade jewellery,.
Knitwear by Maki has donated one of her project bags (you have seen her bags every so often on the podcast!)
